A family run operation.

We are a small, close knit team, with family at our core. The whole family live on the yard, and all play their part, including Lizzie and Sean’s daughters Sophia and Isla, who love keeping us all in check! When you join us an Owner you aren’t just a number. You are part of our team, welcomed into our home and treated as part of the family.

We pride ourselves on the highest standards of equine welfare and performance, creating a happy and safe environment where our horses can thrive. Our horses enjoy a varied routine in the beautiful surroundings of Cumbria and every horse is treated as an individual.

Attention to detail is paramount at Lizzie Quinlan Racing and you’ll notice how well our horses look at home and at the races. Always turned out beautifully by our team, well in their coats and enthusiastic in their work.

With Lizzie’s vast experience working with syndicates, she appreciates how important good quality and regular communication is for Owners. As an Owner you will receive regular photos, videos and updates from Lizzie, plus you are welcome to visit the yard and watch your horses anytime.

Owning a racehorse is a journey like no other. From buying a horse, naming it and picking your colours, to watch it progress at home and hopefully see it in the Winners Enclosure! And if you aren’t in a position to own a horse outright, we have a number of opportunities to join the journey but without the big outlay. Join our syndicate ‘Bolton Mill Racing’ and buy a share of a racehorse with other like minded people. Visit the yard, come to the races and join our racing family.
