Lizzie could ride before she could walk and has devoted her life to the Horse Racing world, gaining extensive experience across a range of roles and areas within the industry. She rode many Winners as an Amateur Jockey, completed the prestigious BHA Graduate Programme and was a well known face of Hambleton Racing, working as their Racing Manager for many years. She was also a key member of Dianne Sayer’s team, and of course assisted her Mum who held a permit license from the same base, of Bolton Mill.

Taking over the license from her Mum, Barbara, in 2022, Lizzie has quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the Northern training circle.

Alongside husband Sean, a successful NH jockey who himself brings a vast amount of experience and knowledge, as well as her Mum & Dad, they continue to be very much a family run operation with a close knit team of staff, and priding themselves on the highest standards of horse care and welfare.
